About Kate

Kate Yiannacou has been a member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO) since 2021, and has featured in Ideal Home, House Beautiful and the Daily Express sharing tips and tricks on how to achieve a calm and clutter-free life.

Having completed her Carbon Literacy training in 2022 she realised that ‘eco-guilt’ was a huge barrier to so many when trying to declutter. She now specialises in supporting her in-person and online clients to rehome and recycle as much clutter as possible to minimise their environmental impact.

Prior to setting up her business, Kate worked in marketing and communications for more than 20 years, and her ability to work to a brief and tailor a message for a wide range of audiences has proved invaluable in supporting her clients.

These days Kate can be found enjoying a pot of peppermint tea in her self-built garden room in Hertfordshire, helping her children learn to organise their space. And she firmly believes in the power of colour and the power of lipstick to help her achieve pretty much anything!
