About declutter coaching

Never worked with a Declutter Coach or Professional Organiser before? Not sure what happens and how I might be able to help? Take a read...
A bright yellow background with wooden scrable tiles spelling out Let's Start

As your Declutter Coach - whether we work together in-person in your home, or online with my virtual support - you can consider me your personal fitness trainer for your space!

I provide totally tailored support to help you declutter and get organised. Whether your end goal is a cosy space with your prized possessions on display, or a sleek minimalist home with plenty of clear surfaces, I will give you the guidance and direction you need to achieve that.

I absolutely understand the anxiety or embarrassment that can come from having a cluttered home, and inviting a Declutter Coach into that space can feel scary. That’s why when we work together I always bring my friendly, relaxed and compassionate approach (and a listening ear) to help you solve your challenges, and I never bring any judgment or pressure.

During an in-person session I'll be right alongside you, coming up with a plan of action to address the areas you want to sort first, and supporting you to declutter whatever is holding you back.

All decisions about what stays and what goes are yours - I'll just be gently challenging and questioning to help you find it easier to let go.

And at the end of the session, I can take away whatever items you're ready to declutter that can be donated to charity.

Client testimonials

I love helping my clients find their tidying mojo, but don't just take my word for it...

declutter

“With Kate there is no sense of ‘you must do this’ or ‘this is the only way’, it’s much more of a conversation or counselling session than I had appreciated at first. The weight of so much superfluous ‘stuff’ has been lifted off my shoulders and I can see how to move on with my journey now.”

J.P., St Albans, Hertfordshire

Home office organisation

"Kate has been so helpful in assisting me to get my home office organised. She had a logical, practical plan for how to tackle what would otherwise have been an overwhelming task and actually made it enjoyable. She is really supportive and doesn’t make you feel judged for all the junk you have accumulated (and there was a lot!)."

L.E., St Albans, Hertfordshire

Virtual wardrobe declutter

"Kate has perfected the rare art of listening to people. She encourages you to share with her all your issues with clutter, and then offers practical, step-by-step advice as to how to deal with it. Having worked with Kate online, I'm now making steady progress with my project on my own, without the previous anxiety I had."

G.C., Lincolnshire

Living room declutter

"I have ADHD and as a result my house is extremely cluttered and chaotic. I looked up professional declutters who work with people with ADHD and found Kate. She is so calm and seems completely unfazed by the task ahead. She is extremely patient, non-judgemental and doesn’t push you in to making decisions that you will regret. However, she is quietly assertive and keeps you focused on the task ahead."

T.A., Walthamstow
